About EJM Remodeling

EJM Remodeling is Eddie Melendreras. In the late 1980’s after a two year stint in college, Eddie decided that the academic route was not fulfilling his needs to work with his hands so he enlisted in Carpenter’s local 1506 and began working as an apprentice. Four years later, Eddie completed the apprenticeship program and became a full fledged journeyman in the field of steel framing, drywall and acoustical ceilings. His experiences in construction gained him valuable knowledge not only as a carpenter but also from working hand in hand with electricians, plumbers and other professional tradesmen.

In the mid 1990’s, Eddie took a brief 20 + year hiatus from the construction field to pursue his second passion of graphic design. After graduating, Eddie began a long and successful career as an Art Director where he worked on advertising campaigns, marketing  and in print publishing. However, during his creative career, Eddie maintained an active interest in construction by remodeling his own homes and those of friends and relatives. Today, Eddie is back to wearing his tools and couldn’t be happier.

Eddie’s background in both construction and graphic design have allowed him to combine his skills and interests to provide his clients with not only the ability to make home improvements, but also to apply his creative abilities to achieve eye pleasing results.
